DR. ROBERT KUYPER
DC, DABCI

Dr. Robert Kuyper is a native of Mitchell, South Dakota where he graduated from Mitchell Senior High School in 2005. He participated in many different sports including baseball, basketball, football and track. After high school, Dr. Kuyper attended South Dakota State University (SDSU); following in the footsteps of most of his family members, including his older brother and Chiropractic colleague, Dr. Eric Kuyper. At the end of his second year at SDSU, Dr. Kuyper decided to live with his Chiropractic brother for the summer. This is where he found a love for Chiropractic and natural healing. Returning to SDSU in the Fall of 2007, Dr. Kuyper began working at a local gym as a Personal Trainer and also at a Chiropractic Clinic that employed seven Doctors of Chiropractic, a Physical Therapist, a Podiatrist (foot doctor) and Anesthesiologists. In 2009 Dr. Kuyper graduated from SDSU where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation with minors in Biology and Chemistry.

After graduating from SDSU, Dr. Kuyper moved to Overland Park, Kansas where he attended Cleveland Chiropractic College. He spent four more years in Kansas in order to complete his eight years of chiropractic schooling. While attending Cleveland Chiropractic he earned Honor Roll awards every trimester, annual President’s Awards for outstanding academic achievement and multiple scholarships. Outside of the classroom Dr. Kuyper was very active in seminars and school clubs. He was the President of the Student International Chiropractic Association club and the Chiropractic Biophysics club. He also tutored Anatomy, Radiology, Embryology and Chemistry.

Dr. Kuyper completed internships at the Kansas City Free Clinic and his brother’s clinic in Rapid City, South Dakota. The Kansas City Free Clinic is a clinic that integrates both Doctors of Chiropractic and Medical Doctors. Dr. Kuyper graduated from Chiropractic school in 2013 with honors at the level of Magna Cum Laude and was also inducted into the Pi Delta Tau Chiropractic Honor Society; only three from his graduating class were inducted to this national honor society. 

After graduating, Dr. Kuyper joined his brother, Dr. Eric Kuyper, in practice. He brings a genuine passion for true health and wellness to the field of chiropractic. He enjoys helping patients maximize their health through eating well, moving well and thinking well. Outside of work Dr. Kuyper loves to camp, workout and spend time with family. His wife's name is Jennifer, and they have five children, Colton, Cali, Cassius, Chloe and Corbin.
